Qubole Gets $25M For Big Data Efforts

Santa Clara-based Qubole, a provider of automated, big-data software--founded by former Facebook Data Services team members Ashish Thusoo and Joydeep Sen Sarma--has raised $25M in a strategic funding, the company said Wednesday. The funding was led by Singtel Innov8 and Harmony Partners, and also included Charles River Ventures (CRV), Lightspeed Venture Partners, Norwest Venture Partners and Institutional Venture Partners (IVP).
