RayVio Raises $26M For Germ Killing UV LEDs

Hayward-based RayVio, a developer of germ-killing, ultraviolet (UV) light emitting diodes (LEDs), has raised $26M in a funding round, the company said Tuesday. The funding was led by IPV Capital and Tsing Capital. RayVio is applying its UV LEDs to water disinfection, hospital hygiene, and other markets. RayVio is led by Dr. Robert C. Walker.
