Restoration Robotics Harvests $45M

Mountain View-based Restoration Robotics, a developer of robotic surgery devices which harvest and transplant hair for treating baldness, has raised $45M in a funding round. The Series C funding was first disclosed in a regulatory filing, and included InterWest Partners, Sutter Hill Ventures, Alloy Ventures and Clarus Ventures. Restoration Robotics is led by Jim McCollum.
