Ribbon Ties Up $1.6M For Social Commerce

Ribbon, a San Francisco startup developing an social commerce platform which lets users sell products and accept payments from the web, Facebook, and other social sites, said today that it has raised $1.6M in a seed funding round. The round came from Draper Associates, Siemer Ventures, Emil Michael (Klout), Naguid Sawiris, Winston Ibrahim (Hydros), and MicroVentures.
