Scanadu Beams Up $10.5M For Handheld Medical Sensors
Moffett Field-based Scanadu, which is developing a suite of handheld, easy-to-use medical sensors for helping to diagnose healthcare issues, has raised $10.5M in a Series A funding round, the company announced today. The funding was led by Relay Ventures, and also included Tony Hsieh's VegasTechFund, Jerry Yang’s Ame Cloud Ventures, Broe Group, Mindful Investors, Redmile Group, and others. Scanadu is developing portable, handheld scanners which can instantly read temperature, heart rate, oximetry, and other health parameters instantly from a patient. More information »
