Respectance Adds $1.5M

San Francisco-based Respectance, an online web site focused on remembering loved ones, said today it has added $1.5M in a Series A funding round. The funding came from Solid Ventures and Big Bang Ventures. According to the firm, it is formally launching its social networking web site, focused on sharing memories of lost loved ones today. The funding will go towards development of the site, partnerships, an international presence, and to drive user adoption. More information »
