Meru Boosts Funding To $87.5M

Sunnyvale-based Meru Networks, a developer of enterprise wireless networking products, has raised the size of the firm's Series E funding round to $87.5M, according to a recent regulatory filing by the firm. According to the filing, the firm has now sold $87.5M out of a nearly $93M fundraising effort, which includes the $30M raised by the firm in April. The firm's filing said that the $87.5M includes both equity and warrants. Meru is backed by Vision Capital Advisors, Clearstone Venture Partners, NeoCarta Ventures, BlueStream Ventures, The D. E. Shaw Group, Evercore Partners, Tenaya Capital and Monitor Ventures. More information »
