Glam Media Gets $50M
San Francisco- and New York-based Glam Media, which operates an online network of sites for women, said Tuesday that it has raised approximately $50M in a Series E round of funding. The funding was led by Aeris Capital, and also included Burda Digital holding and Mizuho Capital. The firm said the new funding will go to build out a Digital Media Technology Center, and for both international expansion and strategic acquisitoins. The firm said it has now raised over $130M in cash. As part of the funding, the company said its North American operations reached EBITDA profitablity, and that its Global business was break-even in Q4. More information »
