VMOps Gets $8.8M
Cupertino-based VMOps, a developer of cloud computing management software, has raised $8.8M in a funding round, part of an ongoing $11M Series B fundraising effort, according to a regulatory filing by the firm Tuesday. Details on the funding have not been released. The firm lists Redpoint Ventures and Nexus Venture Partners as backers. VMOps was founded by Sheng Liang, who developed Sun's Java Virtual Machine (JVM). More information »
