Innovative Silicon Gets $25M

Santa Clara-based Innovative Silicon said Monday afternoon that it has raised $25M in a Series C round of investment. The firm said that the round came from Wellington Partners Venture Capital, Austin Ventures, Auriga Partners, Highland Capital Partners, Index Ventures, and Soitec. The round will go towards expanding the company's engineering and customer support initiatives. Innovative Silicon is a developer of high density memory, used for microprocessors and DRAM products.
