PolyRemedy Adds $25M In Second Round

Mountain View-based PolyRemedy said today that the firm has closed on $25M in a Series B investment, for the firm's robotic systems and nanomaterials-based wound dressings. The round was co-led by Advanced Technology Ventures and IDG Ventures Boston; the deal also included Medventure Associates and Harris & Harris. In conjunction with the funding, PolyRemedy said that Dan Eckhert has joined the firm as President, CEO, and board member; ATV's Tom Rodgers and IDG's Michael Greeley have also joined the firm's board as part of the funding.
