SpeedDate.com Picks Up $6M

San Mateo-based SpeedDate.com, an online speed dating service, said Thursday that the firm has raised $6M in a Series B funding. The round came from Menlo Ventures. SpeedDate.com operates an online speed dating service, which allows users to arrange online, web-camera enabled speed dating sessions. The firm said the funding will go to grow its user base, expand operations, and enhance the site's functionality.
