Intel Backs Augmented Reality Firm
Intel Capital has invested in Total Immersion, a developer of augmented reality software. According to Total Immersion, Intel led a $5.5M investment in the company, which also included investors Partech International, iSource, and Elaia Partners. Total Immersion's software combines live webcam or mobile video with computer graphics, allowing users to interact with those computer graphics in real time.
