Project Frog Hops Onto $22.3M

San Francisco-based Project Frog, a designer of pre-fabricated, energy efficient building technology, has raised $22.3M in a new funding, according to a regulatory filing by the firm this week. Source of the new funds was not announced. The firm is applying technology to structures for the education, K-12, higher education, retail, and other industries. Project Frog has previously raised funding from Rockport Capital Partners, and Aristone Capital Funding. The company also was the recipient of a GE Ecomagination investment in June. Project Frog is one of a number of firms applying pre-fab techniques to green buildings; Blue Homes, a venture-backed Boston firm, is applying similar techniques in the home sector.
