Syncplicity Acquired By EMC

Menlo Park-based Syncplicity, a developer of file synchronization and cloud-based storage services, has been acquired by EMC. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Syncplicity was venture backed by True Ventures and angels, and had last announced a fundraising worth around $2.35M in a round in 2008. Syncplicity was headed by Karen White, and was founded by Leonard Chung and Ondrej Hrebicek.
