IfOnly Gets $12M More For Celebrity Hobnobbing
San Francisco-based IfOnly--which offers up a service which connects users with exclusive opportunities to hobnob with celebrities in the name of charity, has raised $12M in a new funding round, the company said today. The new funding was led by New Enterprise Associates, and also included Khosla Ventures, Founders Fund, American Express Ventures, Conde Nast, and angels. The site lets anyone bid on special, celebrity experiences (private quarterback camp with Joe Montana? Meet and greek with Shakira?) which help those celebrities raise money for charity.
