Scanadu Finds $35M To Bring Star Trek Tricorder To Life
Mountain View-based Scanadu, one of the startup developing handheld, medical vital signs gadgets for the Qualcomm Tricorder XPRIZE, said today that it has raised $35M in a funding round for its technology. The company said the Series B funding round came from Tencent Holdings Limited, China Broadband Capital, Iglobe Partners of Singapore, and Relay Ventures, Redmile Group, Ame Cloud Ventures and Three Leaf Ventures, an affiliate of The Broe Group. The company has now raised $49.7M. The startup is led by Walter De Brouwer. More information »
