NumberCop Acquired By Whitepages

San Francisco-based NumberCop, which operates a service to help users identify robocallers and fraudulent calls on their phone, has been acquired by Whitepages. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Whitepages has hired NumberCop's founder, Jan Voltzke, as its new Vice President of Reputation Services, and will transition current users of NumberCop to its own set of services.
