Recharge Takes $2.3M For By-The-Minute Luxury Hotel Booking

Need a hotel room for just an hour or two -- or even just a few minutes? San Francisco-based Recharge, which says it offers up by-the-minute and by-the-hour booking of luxury hotel rooms, disclosed last week that it has raised $2.3M in seed funding. The funding was led by Binary Capital, and also included Floodgate, Expansion Venture Capital, ENIAC Ventures, and others. The app currently is only available in San Francisco, and says it allows users to have a "nap or shower when you want." More information »
