BaseHealth Gets $8.5M For Population Health Software
Sunnyvale-based BaseHealth, a startup developing predictive population health management software, said this morning that it has raised $8.5M in a funding round. The Series C funding was led by HBM Healthcare Investments (SIX HBMN), which invested $2.5M in the round. The comapny said the funding goes to further develop its analytics engine, which the company says uses machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to assess patient risk for 43 possible disease threats.
