NodeSource Finds $17.5M

San Francisco-based NodeSource, which develops the popular Node.js open source JavaScript library, has raised $17.5M in a Series B funding, the company said on Monday. The funding came from Silicon Valley Bank, Industry Ventures plus Crosslink Capital and RRE Ventures. According to the company, it has now raised $33.4M in total. NodeSource's Founder and CEO is Joe McCann. The company's software is used by enterprise customers for scaling out JavaScript-based enterprise applications; the company said its customers include Citadel, Comcast, Conde Nast, Delta Airlines, Goldman Sachs, Mastercard, and PayPal.
