HiHello Picks Up $2.5M

Palo Alto-based HiHello, a new startup tackling the challenge of managing and contacts, said on Monday that it has raised $2.5M in a seed funding round, the company's second round of funding. According to HiHello, the seed funding was led by August Capital, K9 Ventures and TenOneTen Ventures. Villi Iltchev of August Capital has joined the company's board with the funding. HiHello has developed an app to help users manage digital business cards, making it easier to give people contact information to others, and also said it is looking to help people track their contacts. The firm says "contact management is broken", and says it is tring to bring the best ideas from Bump, Plaxo, and CardMunch into a single service and app. HiHello has now raised $2.75M in total, including an earlier pre-seed round.
