Threadflip Raises $6.5M

San Francisco-based Threadflip, which operates an online marketplace which helps users to discovery, buy, and sell fashions, has raised $6.5M in a Series A funding round. The roudn was led by Shasta Ventures, and also included Lowercase Capital, First Round Capital, Baseline Ventures, Slow Ventures, Forerunner Ventures, Greylock Discovery Fund and Andreessen Horowitz Seed Fund. The firm said Tod Francis of Shasta Ventures joins the company's board with the funding. THe round comes only two months after an earlier, seed funding for the firm, which has now raised $8.1M in total. Threadflip was founded by Manik Singh. More information »
