Thync Snags $13M For Mood Shifting Wearables

Los Gatos-based Thync said Wednesday that it has raised $13M for its development of new, wearable products it says help people manage their state of mind, energy, calm, and focus. The funding came from Khosla Ventures, as well as others. Thync--led by Isy Goldwasser--says that it is looking to use advanced neuroscience to create a new category of products to help people avoid use of things like energy drinks, coffee, alcohol, and artificial stimulants.
