Trov Takes $25.5M For Mobile Insurance App

San Francisco-based Trov, a developer of a mobile app and service which lets users insure their individual items--such as bicycles, laptops, tablets, and other stuff--has raised $25.5M in a funding round. The funding came from OAK HC/FT, Guidewire, Suncorp (Australia), and Anthemis Group. The company hsa now raised $39M in total. Trov operates an on-demand, mobile app--aimed at Millenials and other youth--to individually insure specific things like laptops, cameras, bicycles, and more. The company is led by Scott Walchek.
