Walker & Company Brands Gets $24M For Bevel Razors

Palo Alto-based Walker & Company Brands, the maker of the Bevel brand of razors aimed at people of color has raised $24M in a Series B funding round. The funding was led by Institutional Venture Partners, and also included Andreessen Horowitz, Upfront Ventures, Daher Capital, Collaborative Fund, Google Ventures, Felicis Ventures, and Melo7 Tech Partners. Angels in the round included Earvin "Magic" Johnson, John Legend, King Bach, Ron Johnson, San Francisco 49ers CEO Jed York, San Francisco 49ers President Paraag Marathe, Ryan Leslie, Andre Iguodala, Harrison Barnes, Anre and Paula Williams, Charles King and John Maeda.
