Weaved Finds $2.3M For Secure Device Communications

Palo Alto-based Weaved, a developer of a secure, networking service aimed at the internet of Things and device communications, has raised $2.3M in a funding round. The funding was led by Crunchfund, and also included Metamorphic, Core Ventures Group, TMT Investments, Alpine Meridian Ventures, Double M Partners, HB Rama capital, Ironfire Angel Partners, Maxfield Capital Fund, Haystack Fund, Big Basin Partners, as well as angels. Weaved is led by Ryo Koyama. The company said it is developing secure networking software and technology to help power Internet-of-Things communications.
