Webscale Networks Raises $12M In New Funding

Mountain View-based WebscaleNetworks, a developer of e-commerce software which both can scale with fluctuating demand as well as addresses disaster recovery and failover issues, has raised $12M in a Series A-1 funding. The funding came from Benhamou Global Ventures (BGV), Mohr Davidow Ventures (MDV), and Grotech Ventures. As part of the funding, BGV's Anik Bose will join the company's board. Webscale Networks is led by Sonal Puri.
