Virage Logic Completes Buy of ARC International
Fremont-based Virage Logic said today that it has completed its acquisition of ARC International plc, a provider of microprocessor IP to the semiconductor industry. Virage said that ARC will become its own business unit, headed by Dr. Yankin Tanurhan, Vice President and GM of Virage Logic's Processor and NVM Solutions unit. Virage said that ARC had $24M in revenue for the trailing twelve months ended June 30th. The deal was worth approximately $41M in cash.
