Cupertino-based Apple Computer has purchased Quattro Wireless, a provider of mobile marketing advertising services. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. According to a statement from Andy Miller, CEO and co-founder of Quattro, Apple will continue to offer the same services and offerings from Quattro Wireless, with no change to client and support teams. Miller is now VP of Mobile Advertising at Apple. Quattro, based in Massachusetts, was venture backed by Highland Capital Partners and Globespan Capital Partners.
