Shocking Technologies Gets $5.2M
San Jose-based Shocking Technologies, a developer of dielectric materials used to protect against electromagnetic static discharge (ESD), announced Monday that it has raised $5.2M in a Series B-1 round. The firm said the new funding brings its total raised in the round to $13.2M. Source of the new funding was not disclosed. Shocking said the funding will go to build out manufacturing, and to build out its team.
