Barnes and Noble Launches $149 Nook
Barnes and Noble said today that it has launched a $149, Wi-Fi only version of its Nook e-book reader. The new Nook has all the features of its 3G version, with Barnes and Noble saying it is "virtually identical" to the Nook 3G. The firm also said it has lowered the price of its 3G Nook to only $199. Barnes and Noble said the NOOK 3G pricing makes it the first, under-$200 dedicated e-book reader.
