Agilent Buys Xpedion
Agilent Technologies said this afternoon that it has agreed to acquire Xpedion Design Systems, a provider of software for high speed digital circuit and systems design. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Xpedion develops software used for high speed, RFIC designs, focused on design verification and DFM. Xpedion is backed by Menlo Ventures, Telesoft Partners, and Viventures. The firm last announced a venture capital round in August of 2004.
