San Jose-based Adobe Systems said late Tuesday evening that it has acquired vector graphics software technology from Actimagine. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The deal extends Adobe's Flash platform to mobile platforms. Actimagine develops software that allows high volume, mass market devices to run Flash-based runtimes. The firms said that Actimagine will also incroporate existing and future versions of Adobe Flash Lite technology into its service offerings.
