Motorola Invests in Sequans
Paris, France-based SEQUANS Communications, which maintains its U.S. headquarters in Cupertino, said Friday that it has received a strategic investment from Motorola Ventures. The investment is an extension of the firm's latest round of funding, which was announced in July. SEQUANS develops fixed and mobile WiMax semiconductors. SEQUANS develops 802.16 silicon and software used for WiMax functionality. Amount of the funding was not disclosed.
