Sequans Gains New Funding
4G semiconductor firm Sequans, a developer of LTE chips which is based in Paris but has U.S. operations in Cupertino, said Thursday that it has raised a new round of capital for the firm. Amount of the funding was not disclosed, however, thec ompany said that the funding came from Alcatel-Lucent and Motorola Ventures, along with prior investors. Sequans said the new funding would go towards accelerating its LTE development.
