PixSense Lands $5.4M
Santa Clara-based PixSense has raised $5.4M in a Series A funding, the firm annoucned today. The round was led by ATA Ventures and Innovacom, and will be used for accelerating the firm's product development. PixSense develops software used for managing mobile phone photos, and connects those photos with blogs and other online services. The Series A funding follows roughly $1M in angel funding the firm has received so far, according to coverage in VentureBeat earlier this year.
