Meebo Adds $9M For IM Service
Mountain View-based Meebo, a provider of web-based instant messaging services, has raised $9M in a new funding from Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Tim Draper of DFJ joins the firm's board of directors in conjunction with the funding. Previous investor Sequoia Capital also participated in the round. Meebo operates a AJAX-based instant messaging service.
