BitTorrent Launches Media Download Network
San Francisco-based BitTorrent said today that it has launched a new download network on its web site, focused on downloadable digital entertainment. The new service allows users to download, rent, and purchase movies, television shows, and music videos. The content includes titles from 20th Century Fox, Lions Gate, MTV Networks, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and new partner MGM. The site will offer $3.99 and $2.99 movie rentals, and $1.99 download-to-own TV shows and music videos.
