AeroScout Raises $21M
San Mateo-based AeroScout said Friday that it has raised $21M in a Series C funding. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, and also included Greylock Partners, Star Ventures, Pitango, Cisco Systems, and Intel Capital. AeroScout is a provider of active RFID products based on Wi-Fi technology. The firm said the funding will go towards sales and marketing, international markets, and product development.
