Tapatap Raises Funding
San Mateo-based Tapatap, which is developing applications for mobile phones, has raised a Series A round of funding from Gabriel Ventures, according to a regulatory funding. Private Equity week pegs the round at $2.5M. Tapatap's mobile applications allow for the sharing and download of data cross the web, WAP, and mobile clients. Rick Bolander of Gabriel Ventures sits on the firm's board of directors. The round has not been announced by the company.
