CardioVasc Acquires Acta Vascular Systems, Gets Funding
Menlo Park-based firms CardioVasc and Acta Vascular Systems announced today that the two have merged into a new firm, called Nfocus Neuromedical. CardioVasc acquired Acta Vascular in a merger transaction, which also included a venture capital financing by Oxford Bioscience Partnres, Technology Partners, and DFJ e-Planet. Financial terms of the funding was not disclosed. nFocus is focusing on treatments for hemorrhagic stroke and brain aneurysms.
