Vascular Pathways Gets $14M
Los Altos-based Vascular Pathways, a developer of medical devices targeted at peripheral intravenous access, said today that it has raised $14M in a Series B funding round. The round was led by CHL Medical Partners, and also included Ascension Health Ventures (AHV), MVM Life Science Partners and Arcus Ventures. Dr. Myles Greenberg of CHL, Dr. Walter Lin of AHV, and Dr. Stephen Reeders of MVM all join the firm's board as part of the new funding round. Vascular Pathways is developing a new catheter which it says has lower rates of failed insertion attempts.
