Sun Microsystems Acquires Assets From SaveJe Technologies
Santa Clara-based Sun Microsystems and Chelmsford, Mass.-based SavaJe Technologies announced last night that the two companies are in a definitive agreement where Sun will acquire SaveJe's intellectual property assets. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. SavaJe is a developer of mobile Java software platforms for the mobile phone market, and is funded by venture capital firm Ridgewood Capital and others. The deal is expected to close in Q4 of Sun's 2007 fiscal year.
