YardBarker.com Gets Seed Round
Berkeley-based YardBarker.com, an online web sites focused on sports news and blogging, has raised a round of seed funding the firm told silicontap.com today. YardBarker.com said that the funding was led by Russell Siegelman of Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, who invested as an individual, along with other angels including Steve Blank, the founder of Epiphany, Ron Conway of Baseline Ventures, as well as Ronnie Lott and Harris Barton of HRJ Capital and Labrador Ventures, all who are members of the Band of Angels. Amount of the investment was not disclosed.
