Competitious Gets Seeded
Online competitive analysis web site Competitious announced last week that it has closed seed funding in the firm. Amont of the funding was not disclosed. According to the company, one of its primary investors is Paul Colton, CEO and founder of Aptana. The funding will go towards developing and launch its service, which is currently in beta form. Competitious operates a Web 2.0 service and mashup that allows product managers and companies to track competitors, by pulling in Alexa data, blogs and RSS feeds, and other information sources alongside documents and notes.
