Sunnyvale-based Avega Systems has raised $7M in a Series B funding, the company said today. Avega Systems, which maintains headquarters in Sunnyvale but runs its operations out of Sydney, Australia, said that the funding came from Cisco Systems, JAFCO Asia, and Technology Venture Partners. Avega Systems is developing networked home entertainment systems technology. The funding will go to growth, technology development, and marketing activities.
