Google Buys Video Conferencing Software
Google said last night that it has purchased the video conferencing software of Marratech, a Swedish firm that develops a cross-platform, video conferencing software package for online video conferencing and meetings. Financial terms and exact arrangements of the deal were not disclosed. According to Google, Marratech's engineers will continue to focus on desktop conferencing research and development in Sweden, where they will continue to be based.
