Google Buys Directr
Mountain View-based Google has acquired mobile video editing startup Directr, the companies said Wednesday afternoon, with Directr joining YouTube's video ads team. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Directr was based in Boston. Directr said it would make its tools free to users as part of the acquisition.
