Marrone Organic Innovations Digs UP $3.75M
Davis, California-based Marrone Organic Innovations, a firm that is developing weed and pest management products based on natural products, has raised $3.75M in a Series A round, the firm announced this morning. The funding came from Clean Pacific Ventures, along with One Earth Capital, Saffron Hill Ventures, Calvert Social Investment Fund, and Wavepoint Ventures. Local angels also participated in the deal. Sean Schickedanz of Clean Pacific and Joe Hudson of One Earth have joined the firm's board as part of the funding.
